Meet Sahyun Anthony Coleman

Sahyun Anthony commenced his Taekwon-Do training in March 1984 within Rhee International Taekwon-Do under Master Graham Moulden, who was at that stage a 2nd Dan Black Belt and Regional Instructor for Wide Bay and Central Queensland.

​

In September 1986, Sahyun Anthony (who was then a 2nd gup student) was appointed as an Assistant Instructor at the West Bundaberg Branch of Rhee International Taekwon-Do. On 1st June 1987, Sahyun Anthony was graded to 1st Dan Black Belt by Master Chong Chul Rhee, who was at that stage a 7th Dan Master Instructor.

​

For the next 30 years, Sahyun Anthony has taught Taekwon-Do across the Wide Bay Burnett and South East Queensland regions as well as in Thailand.

​

In September 2019, Sahyun Anthony was promoted to 7th Dan by Grand Master Leong Wai Meng, Grand Master Hwang Ho Yong and Grand Master Kim Ung Chol of the International Taekwon-Do Federation. 

​

Sahyun Anthony continues to teach Taekwon-Do and leads a team of dedicated Taekwon-Do instructors as the Chief Instructor for the International Taekwon-Do Federation South East Queensland.

Chermside Taekwon-Do International Taekwon-Do Federation ITF Jackson Lau teaching in Brisbane

Meet Sabum Jackson Lau

Sabum Jackson commenced his Taekwon-Do training in June 1986 under the direct instruction of Master Graham Moulden and in December 1988 he was promoted to 1st Dan by Master Chong Chul Rhee.

 

In January 1989, Sabum Jackson began teaching at a number of branches across Bundaberg including North Bundaberg, Bargara and East Bundaberg.

 

For the next 20 plus years Sabum Jackson promoted Taekwon-Do in the Wide Bay Burnett region by coordinating and participating in countless demonstrations.

​

In October 2004, Sabum Jackson was promoted to 4th Dan and attained International Instructor status (Certificate Number 1258).

 

In November 2009, Sabum Jackson was promoted to 5th Dan by Senior Master Robert Lai, who was the President of the All Australia International Taekwon-Do Federation, which is the national governing body for ITF Taekwon-Do in Australia.

​

In 2011, Sabum Jackson suffered a serious downturn in his health and in 2012 he returned to training. In 2014 Sabum Jackson relocated to Brisbane and continues to train and share his Taekwon-Do knowledge with the students.

 

Sabum Jackson, in true indomitable spirit, continues to inspire students with his determination.

Chermside Taekwon-Do International Taekwon-Do Federation in Brisbane where Michael Devine is teaching

Meet Sabum Michael Devine

Sabum Michael commenced his Taekwon-Do training in March 2003 with the Queensland Self Defence and Taekwon-Do Academy under Master Graham Moulden and was promoted to 1st Dan in December 2006.

 

Sabum Michael completed the Assistant Instructor course in March 2009 and was appointed as the Assistant Instructor at the Chermside branch. Later that year he was promoted to 2nd Dan by Chief Instructor Kris Richardson.

​

For the next six years Sabum Michael taught Taekwon-Do in the Brisbane region and promoted Taekwon-Do by participating and coordinating numerous demonstrations.

 

In March 2011, after taking on additional responsiblities and further developing his management skills, Sabum Micahel was promoted to Instructor at the Chermside branch. In March 2012, Sabum Michael was promoted to 3rd Dan.

​

In October 2015, Sabum Michael travel to Bundaberg to be examined by Master Moulden and was promoted to 4th Dan. in April 2109, Sabum Michael was promoted to 5th Dan by Master Graham Moulden. 

​

Sabum Michael holds a Bachelor of Nursing and is a Registered Nurse.

​

As the Senior Branch Instructor for the Chermside branch, Sabum Michael continues to share his Taekwon-Do knowledge with the students of ITF SEQ.

Chermside Taekwon-Do International Taekwon-Do Federation Instructor Dale Morden in Brisbane

Meet Boosabum Leah Dowling 

Boosabum Leah Dowling commenced her Taekwon-Do training in September 2007 in Bundaberg achieving her 1st Dan Junior Black Belt in June 2010. In March 2012 Boosabum Leah was promoted to 1st Dan.

 

In September 2014, Boosabum Leah relocated to Brisbane and commenced her training at the Chermside branch and in November 2015 Boosabum Leah was promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt by Sabum Kris Richardson 6th Dan, who is the Chief Instructor for the International Taekwon-Do Federation Wide Bay.

 

Boosabum Leah completed the six month Assistant Instructor course in June 2016 and was appointed to the Chermside branch as an Assistant Instructor.

​

In August 2017, Boosabum Leah commenced teaching at the Norman Park branch and was promoted to Instructor. Due to a restructure of the training centres in April 2018, Boosabum Leah returned to the Chermside branch.

​

In April 2019, Boosabum Leah was promoted to 3rd Dan by Master Graham Moulden.

 

Boosabum Leah holds a Certificate III in Fitness and first aid training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic emergency life support.

 

Boosabum Leah continues to share her Taekwon-Do knowledge with the students of the International Taekwon-Do Federation South East Queensland.

Jen Wright Taekwondo black belt in Chermside

Meet Boosabum Jen Wright 

Boosabum Jen Wright commenced her Taekwon-Do training in March 2015 in Brisbane achieving her 1st Dan Black Belt in September 2017. 

 

Boosabum Jen completed the six month Assistant Instructor course in March 2018 and was appointed to the Chermside branch as an Assistant Instructor.

​

In April 2019, Boosabum Jen was promoted to 2nd Dan by Master Graham Moulden.

​

Boosabum Jen holds Certificates III and IV in Fitness as well as first aid training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic emergency life support.

 

Boosabum Jen continues to share her Taekwon-Do knowledge with the students of the International Taekwon-Do Federation South East Queensland.
