Albany Fair Supported by ITF SEQ

The International Taekwon-Do Federation South East Queensland (ITF SEQ) supported the annual Albany Fair for the fourth consecutive year. This year, the ITF SEQ Demonstration Team performed on the main stage in front of audience of about 150 people showing the skills learnt with our organisation.

The audience was entertained with displays of self defence, tile destruction, board breaks and sparring.

Chloe, who is a white belt and the youngest member of the team, at her first Taekwon-Do demonstration performed way beyond her age when she took part in the children’s self defence display as well as in three step sparring.

Jason, one of ITF SEQ’s new adult white belts, performed very well and confidently with a front snap kick board break as well as the attacker for the lady’s self defence display.

Instructor Dale worked with Tim Mander MP, Local Member for Everton, on stage and taught Mr Mander a shoulder grab self defence techniques as well as a palm heel board break.

Ashley and Taylor were sterling in their sparring display, self defence presentation and breaking techniques.

Sabum Michael demonstrated excellent speed and technique when he performed the drop board break.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Taekwon-Do demonstration. These displays are a great opportunity to perform in front a crowd and train yourself to focus on the task as hand without distraction.
