Self Defence Hacks - Part 1

Car Safety

Most modern cars allow you to program how the remote opens the vehicle, ie all doors, only one door etc.

It is a safer option to only open the driver's side door as you approach, enter the vehicle promptly and then press central locking.

This reduces the opportunity for assailants to enter your car.

Aware of Your Surroundings

Always be aware of your surroundings when either leaving work, shops or home. Take notice of who is around or things that are 'out of the ordinary'.

Walk confidently, looking up, don't be distracted by your phone.

If you're with friends, don't be so engrossed in the conversation that you forget about your surroundings.
