Continuing to Improve Instructing Ability - Part 2

Following on from the Continuing to Improve Instructing Ability blog post, Master Moulden has now attended the patterns, self defence and sparrings sessions of the 2016 Montreal Technical Seminar and International Instructor Course. Master Moulden has also met with the ITF President, Master Ri Yong Son and the ITF Secretary-General, Prof Kim Sung Hwang. At the Welcome Dinner of the event, Master Moulden accepted on behalf of Sabum Rachanok her ITF Outstanding Instructor Medal and Plaque. Part 3 of this blog report is available here.

Continuing to Improve Instructing Ability

Master Graham Moulden, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Thailand and Founder of the parent organisation of ITF SEQ, is travelling to Canada to attend the ITF Technical Seminar and International Instructor Course in Montreal. This event will be held on 14-16 October 2016 and is being conducted by three 8th Dan ITF Masters: Master Alaine Dumaine; Master Walter Zdeb; and Master Santino Caputo. 2nd Dan International Taekwon-Do Federation Certificates Awarded

Congratulations to (L to R) Assistant Instructor Leah, Ashley and Instructor Dale on receiving their International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) 2nd Dan Certificates, which were presented by Sabum Kris Richardson, who is the Chief Instructor for ITF Taekwon-Do Wide Bay. These certificates are signed by the ITF President, Master Ri Yong Son, issued by the ITF headquarters in Vienna and recognise their promotion to 2nd Dan Black Belts. Each certificate issued by the ITF is recorded in the organisation's international database and has a unique number. Outstanding Instructor Medal Awarded

Congratulations to Sabum Rachanok, ITF Thailand, on being awarded the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) Outstanding Instructor Medal. This is a significant award as Sabum Rachanok has contributed an enormous amount to the ITF and the students she teaches. The award was announced during the ITF World Congress in Andria, Italy.

Spring Grading 2016 - First One

There were a few nervous students at the first ITF SEQ grading on 8 September. This was the night when Sabum Kris Richardson, Chief Instructor ITF Taekwon-Do Wide Bay, would be examining the students for their next belt level. Prior to the grading starting, Chief Instructor Kris presented Instructor Dale, Assistant Instructor Leah and Ashley with their 2nd Dan ITF certificates. These certificates are issued by ITF headquarters in Vienna and provide these individuals with international recognition of their 2nd Dan status.
